Jinja Hotels
 
Jinja is the second commercial centre in Uganda, Africa. It was established in 1907. Jinja lies in the south east of Uganda, 87 km north east of the capital, Kampala. It is located on the shores of Lake Victoria, near to the source of the White Nile river. The city is the chief town of Jinja District, and is considered the capital of the Kingdom of Busoga. Jinja was initially the most industrialized town in Uganda with European and Asian settlers who had boosted up the economy but with the rise of some turbulent leaders like Amini, the town’s economy collapsed with the dismissal of the foreign investors, however the town is gradually resurrecting to its former glory with the population increasing and so many suburban mansions coming up, good infrastructure and now the town provides some of the most popular and attractive tourist activities.
